Service and Maintenance


Following our professional installation, Dyer will provide regular maintenance and testing of all smoke ventilation systems. As a potentially life-saving system, it is important to maintain the reliability and efficiency of each and every installation. Dyer offer various service programmes, usually based on two pre-arranged annual visits, offering an emergency callout within 72 hours wherever possible. The standard servicing would include for:
  • Inspection of the Control System for satisfactory electrical and mechanical function.
  • Inspection of appliances for outer damage and dirt accumulation.
  • Checking the power and emergency power supply.
  • Functional testing of connected system components.
  • Rectification of faults within warranty period if fault can be identified as being due to faulty manufacturing, or installation by Dyers.
